Course Update and Note to Buggy Users!

Course Update
In the coming weeks Greenstaff will continue to clear leaves from the course and maintain the Winter Course. Verti draining and slitting all fairways and tee boxes to continue. During winter months they will again be falling trees. The main area will be the trees between 4th fairway/ 6th tee. Areas to follow are Putting Green and area in front of 18th tee box.

Recently Green staff have been preparing temporary greens on the fairways. These will be used as frost holes. It is our intention to stay on all greens throughout the winter, weather permitting.

Members and visitors should be reminded that holes 1 and 2 are closed and should not be used for practice.

Buggy Users
DURING THESE VERY WET CONDITIONS GREEN STAFF WORK HARD TO KEEP THE COURSE OPEN AND WHEN POSSIBLE ALLOW THE BUGGYS OUT. SOMETIMES THEY ARE ALLOWED AGAINST THEIR BETTER JUDGEMENT.I WOULD ASK ALL BUGGY USERS TO RESPOND BY TAKING CARE , SLOW DOWN, OBEY SIGNS AND ROPED OFF AREAS AND STAY WELL AWAY FROM GREENS AND TEE BOXES.

Many thanks
Richard Cunningham, Greens Convenor
